If you only have one day to visit Rome, there are a few top attractions you should definitely see. Here is a list of the main attractions of Rome to visit in one day:

Morning:


Colosseum: Start your day by visiting the Colosseum, one of the most iconic symbols of Rome. Admire the impressive amphitheater and immerse yourself in the history of ancient Rome.


Roman Forum: Next to the Colosseum is the Roman Forum, an archaeological area that was once the political and commercial center of ancient Rome. Explore the ruins of ancient temples, basilicas and markets.


Capitol: Climbing up the Capitol Hill, you will be able to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Visit the Campidoglio square, designed by Michelangelo, and admire the equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius.

4. Piazza di Spagna and Trinità dei Monti: Head towards Piazza di Spagna, where you will find the famous Trinità dei Monti steps. Enjoy the view from the top of the staircase and take a stroll along the luxury boutique on Via dei Condotti.
