Climate, average temperatures and precipitation
Best time: Melbourne is great to visit all year round. In summer (austral) for the beautiful sunny days and the many events; in autumn for the foliage and fairs; in spring the parks and botanical gardens are in bloom and the temperatures are very pleasant; winter (our summer) is ideal for those who don't like the heat, for visiting museums and admiring splendid sunsets over the sea.
Period to avoid: there is no real period to avoid, you simply have to choose based on the type of holiday you are interested in. The low season corresponds to our summer (austral winter).
